Computer Program?

At work, we need to follow up on a lot of the stuff that we handle at a later date, either to finish it or to review how it went to improve for the future. Right now, we print copies of emails, documents, etc. and put them in a file labeled 1-31 so that we can pull out the three file on the third and have everything we needed. My boss would like a computer program that will open the documents on her computer for her on dates that are marked. I know in Outlook you can set tasks and it will remind you about projects, but I don't know of anything that will actually open the Word document, etc. on a later date. Do any of you know of any programs that will do this? Thanks!

hi.. I know a program which is actually very good for organizing all kind of documents, I used to use it in my previous job, my boss was extremely organized, and has everything under control with it; it works amazing and has a lot (believe me a lot) of funtions, I recommend it: is GoldMine. I'm not sure if you can open the document but maybe it does, you have to read all the manual, I am sure it will help you a lot. Regards!

Hi I agree with judith,
But little bit change on your side is, instead of giving numbers to the file. give short names. Then only you can't find any difficulties.

Awesome breakdown of your experience. I noticed you think it’s not that great for sharing information with clients, but find that it works with partners? In my experience these audiences are often similar and have a similar, positive experience. What do you see as the differences in these two groups and why does one prefer it while the other doesn’t?

Hello

A computer program (also a software program, or just a program) is a sequence of instructions written to perform a specified task for a computer. A computer requires programs to function, typically executing the program's instructions in a central processor.[2] The program has an executable form that the computer can use directly to execute the instructions. The same program in its human-readable source code form, from which executable programs are derived (e.g., compiled), enables a programmer to study and develop its algorithms.

Computer source code is often written by professional computer programmers. Source code is written in a programming language that usually follows one of two main paradigms: imperative or declarative programming. Source code may be converted into an executable file (sometimes called an executable program or a binary) by a compiler and later executed by a central processing unit. Alternatively, computer programs may be executed with the aid of an interpreter, or may be embedded directly into hardware.

Computer programs may be categorized along functional lines: system software and application software. Two or more computer programs may run simultaneously on a single computer, a process known as multitasking.
